Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome, Eagles Parents!

The first step for any volunteer is completing Protecting God’s Children compliance requirements:

1. Attending a VIRTUS training class and submitting to an Archdiocese background check. To sign up, please visit https://www.virtusonline.org and click on “First-Time Registrant” on the left-hand side. You will be directed to search for available classes anywhere in the Chicagoland area and provide secured personal information. There will also be periodic bulletins you will need to read and complete.

2. Complete an Archdiocesan Standards of Behavior Form

3. Annually complete DCFS – CANTS 689

4. Annually complete DCFS - CANTS 22

5. Complete the Mandated Reporter Training required for all School Employees, DREs/CREs, Catechists, Youth Ministers, Scout Leaders, and Coaches.

Please return the CANTS 689, CANTS 22, and Mandated Reporter Certificate to the school office
