Welcome to the St. Francis de Sales School Website! Thank you for taking an interest in our private, Catholic, preschool through the 8th-grade parish school community.

St. Francis de Sales School is a school that blends the best of our rich 60+ years of traditions with innovative and creative approaches to ensure our students are receiving the very best 21st-century Catholic education. We live our unchanging mission with a 21st-century vision.

SFS defines itself using five norms: community, innovation, growth, respect, and service. Our Vision of a Graduate outlines our spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical student growth goals. Curriculum and instruction are designed purposefully to align with our community norms and our Vision of a Graduate. 

Our fundamental beliefs about curriculum and instruction are that learning is life-long, connected to real-life experience, multi-sensory, goal-motivated, experiential, relational, and active. Upon graduation, a student should be prepared to approach any high school experience with confidence, resilience, a sense of responsibility, and an ethic of service.  

Our faculty care deeply about our collective mission. They model lifelong learning for the students. They are passionate but also possess the technological, pedagogical, and content-area knowledge that allows them to inspire students and pass on their knowledge. They provide direct instruction, coach and guide students in independent learning, and create opportunities for student collaboration as well.

Our teachers and our families are partners in education with strong relationships and communication between them that supports student learning.  I feel blessed to be a part of this community.
