A. St. Francis de Sales Parish School is the most affordable Catholic grade school in our area, offering value to parents seeking a quality, Catholic education for their children. We recognize, however, that some families still might not be able to afford the full cost of tuition. To ensure that those families have access to our outstanding academics in a safe, faith-based environment, we offer several tuition assistance programs. A. Absolutely. You do not have to be Catholic to attend St. Francis. St. Francis de Sales School's mission is rooted in the Catholic/Christian faith, yet we understand the value of diversity and welcome students of all beliefs. All students grow intellectually from an excellent curriculum in English, mathematics, social studies, science and the arts, which has twice been recognized with a national Blue Ribbon Award. As part of our Catholic Tradition, students are invited to participate in the religious and cultural life of the school, including daily prayer and weekly all-school Mass. We believe the invitation to grow spiritually, inside and outside daily Religion class, prepares students to make an impact on our world and sets St. Francis de Sales School apart from its peers.

A. No, you do not need to become a parishioner at the Church; however, we invite you to explore our parish and our faith-based community. All of our students are exposed to the religious and cultural life of the school, including daily prayer, religion class, and weekly all-school Mass. We believe the invitation to grow spiritually uniquely prepares students to make an impact on our world, and sets St. Francis de Sales apart from its peers.

A. All of our teachers have a Bachelor's degree, and many have obtained a Master’s degree. Our teachers attend a minimum of six in-service days each year, and the majority attend additional workshops and classes. Five teachers have been nominated for the Golden Apple Award.

A. Yes! We offer both before school and after school care programs for all grade levels (including preschool). These programs are run by St. Francis de Sales staff members, and have use of all the school facilities including the gym, playground, library, classrooms, and technology (lab and Chrome books as needed). A. Families that reside in District 95 will receive bus service to and from St. Francis de Sales School (exception: there may be a fee if you live closer than 1.5 miles from school). A. St. Francis requires that all children (K-8th grade) wear uniforms, please review our uniform policy for more information. Any new uniforms can be ordered through Dennis Uniform, our uniform provider.

A. Registrations are welcome throughout the year. Open registration for new families starts during Catholic Schools week, which is typically the last week of January. Please visit our registration page or contact our school office for more details.
