6th grader Brady K. was the Principal for the Day on Friday, November 17th. Brady greeted the students as they arrived, helped the administration and NJHS members pass out coffee to the parents during morning drop-off and teachers during 1st period, made the morning announcements, distributed birthday gifts to students, and passed out popcorn to the classes that won a Movie Day for top participation in the Spirit Walk as they watched their movie. The students were grateful that Brady also made the day an out-of-uniform day.

6th grader Dino O. was the Principal for the Day on Wednesday, November 8th. Dino greeted the students as they arrived, made the morning announcements, passed out Soaring Eagles at mass, and passed out ice cream sandwiches as a treat at lunch. The students were grateful that Dino made Wednesday an out-of-uniform day as well.

The students at St. Francis de Sales collected sanitary items for the asylum seekers in Chicago in partnership with Our Lady of the Holy Family Parish. Students gathered and loaded the collected items on a truck on Wednesday, November 8th.

The challenge of maintaining a first-rate educational experience is constant. Tuition does not cover the cost of educating your student. For each St. Francis de Sales student, there is a $2,800 gap between the tuition paid and the cost to educate each student. 
Checks can be sent to the school office and issued to St. Francis de Sales Catholic School.

Congratulations to all of our students who made their First Communion during the month of May!

The 8th grade class spent 4 days and 3 nights in Washington DC visiting and exploring Mount Vernon, monuments and memorials, Arlington National Cemetary, the Capitol Building, Ford's Theatre, the National Holocaust Museum, and the Smithsonian Museums.
